PT. Asuransi Jiwa Generali Indonesia (Generali Indonesia) held a health roadshow entitled "Generali Health Cities" in 17 cities, one of which was in Semarang City which was held in June, July, and August 2025. President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Generali Indonesia Rebecca Tan, in Semarang, Friday, revealed that Generali Indonesia has been established since 2008 and has become part of Indonesian society. At the age of 17, she said, Generali Indonesia continues to grow based on the trust and support of customers, business partners and the community. Based on 2024 data, Indonesia is still experiencing a significant increase in cases of disease, including diabetes, tuberculosis, and mental illnesses such as anxiety and sleep disorders. In the "Generali Health Cities" health roadshow, Generali Indonesia provides an opportunity for the public to access complete examinations, starting from medical check-ups (MCU), body mass index (BMI), breathing tests, eye tests, electrocardiogram (ECG) heart examinations, and doctor consultations.
In collaboration with hospitals and partner health networks, the activities will be held in the cities of Bandung, Medan, Palembang, Jakarta, Tangerang, Semarang, Cirebon, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Batam, Cianjur, Malang, Pontianak, Palangkaraya, Pekanbaru, Makassar, to Jayapura, involving the participation of thousands of participants and volunteers. According to him, this step is in line with Generali Indonesia's marketing reach which is currently in more than 35 cities supported by thousands of professional and licensed agents, from Medan to Jayapura. In addition to health checks, the public also has the opportunity to take part in "health talks" which discuss health and disease trends, as well as how to handle them, while also donating through the Human Safety Net (THSN) movement. All donations from the THSN program will be distributed through NGO partners Yayasan Jarimatika (Professional Mothers Community) to improve the quality of life of families in Indonesia. "These various efforts are part of our steps to realize Generali's vision - enable people to shape a safer and more sustainable future by caring for their lives and dreams," he said.
