Rig Direct, a specialized service by Tenaris, manages production, stock, and logistics for OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods), collaborating closely with clients as an efficient Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solution. Delegations from SKK Migas, Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), HCML, and Petronas explored the Abu Dhabi Rig Direct services to understand its processes, focusing on the benefits and efficiencies offered. Accompanied by Pungky Hermawan and Muhammad Fahmi Hadar from TenarisSPIJ Cilegon, the Indonesian representatives received insightful presentations on Rig Direct practices from Mohsen Mouawad and Muhammad Fahmi Hadar, covering operational processes in ADNOC in Abu Dhabi and BP's Rig Direct in Indonesia.

Erwin Suryadi, Vice President of SKK Migas, expressed consistent support for breakthroughs in supply chain management to accelerate production, aiming to reach targets of 1 million barrels of oil per day (BPOD) and 12 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day (BSCFD) by 2030. Emphasizing the significance of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Pungky highlighted its role in enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
