President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated 1,151 kilometers of regional roads built under the Regional Roads Presidential Instruction (IJD) framework during a working visit to Sampang, East Java. By centering the inauguration at the Kedungdung–Bringkoning route in Madura, the government highlighted its commitment to prioritizing rural and lagging regions, ensuring that local agricultural, plantation, and fishery yields can move efficiently from small villages to larger distribution hubs. President Prabowo noted that adequate road access prevents any territory from being left behind, dramatically dropping transportation costs while directly cushioning local economies against supply chain bottlenecks.
