By mid-2025, the figure had achieved 50% of the government’s annual target, signaling sustained global demand for Indonesian creative products.

The industry’s contribution to GDP also rose by 5.69% in 2024, with employment exceeding the 2025 target of 25.55 million, mainly among youth and women. Minister Riefky affirmed that creativity generates both opportunities and quality jobs nationwide. To strengthen this momentum, the Ministry continues to expand financing access, foster innovation, and promote export readiness for regional creative enterprises. He encouraged collaboration among government, private sector, academia, and communities to make creativity a pillar of Indonesia’s sustainable development.
