On the third day of Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2025, Indonesia secured USD 1.15 billion in export deals through 22 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) signed between Indonesian exporters and international buyers. Minister of Trade Budi Santoso praised the achievement, attributing it to the hard work of business players in promoting high-quality Indonesian products. He highlighted the rising global trust in Indonesian goods, as reflected in the strong enthusiasm during the expo.
The TEI 2025, held from October 15–19 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, features three main product zones: food and agriculture, manufactured products, and services and lifestyle. Minister Budi also appreciated the efforts of Indonesian trade representatives abroad in attracting potential buyers. He expressed hope that small businesses would benefit through the "UMKM BISA Ekspor" program, designed to connect MSMEs with global buyers through online business matching initiatives.
