Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto announced that the government will soon form a Special Task Force for the Acceleration of Priority Development Programs. The establishment of this task force, aimed at tackling investment bottlenecks in strategic economic sectors, will be formalized through a Presidential Regulation (Perpres), which has already been proposed to the President for approval.
Initially disclosed by Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, the task force is expected to resolve regulatory and licensing obstacles frequently encountered by investors and business players in Indonesia. The government hopes this initiative will improve the investment climate and boost the realization of key national development programs.
