The West Java Provincial Government, through its Economic Bureau, has initiated a strategic collaboration to attract high-value investment by facilitating a partnership between regional-owned enterprise PT Migas Utama Jabar (MUJ) and PT Enerproco Global Indonesia, a global energy technology company with expertise in Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (C-EOR). This move aligns with Governor Dedi Mulyadi’s vision to boost regional energy independence and promote sustainable, technology-driven energy investments supporting the SDGs.
The agreement, formalized through an MoU signed on 14 October 2025, aims to optimize untapped oil reserves in key fields such as E-Main and Zulu Field within the Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) working area. PT Enerproco, affiliated with US-based ENERPROGROUP LLC, brings a proven international track record of increasing oil production by up to 30% from Original Oil in Place (OOIP). Both parties expressed commitment to long-term, environmentally friendly development of West Java’s energy sector through innovation and international standards.
