Poland and Indonesia are taking their bilateral cooperation to a new creative level. Through recent initiatives, both countries have begun strengthening ties in the gaming and creative economy industries, aiming to boost collaboration, investment, and cultural exchange between Europe and Southeast Asia. The partnership was highlighted through various activities and forums that brought together game developers, creative entrepreneurs, and government representatives from both nations. Polish institutions expressed strong interest in Indonesia’s rapidly growing creative sector — particularly in digital games, animation, film, and design — recognizing the country’s young talent and expanding market potential.
One of the most notable achievements came during the Digital Dragons event in Krakow, where Indonesian gaming companies like Agate and Animesme secured potential business deals worth around USD 4.5 million (IDR 73 billion). These collaborations opened the door for joint production, exchange of creative ideas, and cross-border investment opportunities. Beyond business, the partnership also reflects a deeper diplomatic intention: to use creative industries as a bridge for cultural understanding and sustainable economic growth. Both governments view this as a way to promote innovation while empowering young creators to share their stories with a global audience.
