During a recent visit by Prabowo to Egypt, Indonesian trade data highlighted that certain Indonesian products are especially popular in the Egyptian market. Among them, chocolate was singled out as one of the top exports. Other in-demand products from Indonesia in Egypt include coffee, tea, and spices (HS 09), with a recorded export value of around USD 148.3 million.
In addition, exports of iron and steel (HS 72) from Indonesia to Egypt amounted to approximately USD 105.6 million. The export profile to underscore how Indonesia’s product diversity — spanning food & beverages to industrial goods — helps the country maintain a strong trade presence in Egypt.
