Indonesia’s exports of mosquito coil products are projected to reach USD 8.225 million in 2025, with Mexico being one of the primary destination markets. This expansion signals a growing acceptance of Indonesian mosquito-repellent goods in global markets such as Italy, showing that these products are not only competitive but also in demand across very different consumer markets in Latin America and Europe. The fact that a traditionally domestic household product is finding success abroad reflects well on Indonesia’s manufacturing capabilities, quality standards, and export strategy. With mosquito coils now being traded internationally, the “Made in Indonesia” label gains further validation in terms of both performance and trust.
By seizing these export opportunities, the mosquito coil industry may generate meaningful foreign exchange, support local supply chains (for raw materials, packaging, logistics), and contribute to employment in associated sectors. The export growth as a point of national pride, highlighting the country’s increasing footprint in the global consumer goods market.
