Indonesia’s Ministry of Creative Economy has begun drafting the 2026–2045 Creative Economy Master Plan (Rindekraf), a strategic framework designed to strengthen the nation’s creative economy through a people-centered approach. The initiative aims to position creative industries as a key driver of economic growth toward Indonesia Emas 2045. The drafting process involves coordination across ministries and government agencies to ensure synergy in developing an inclusive and sustainable creative ecosystem. The Rindekraf is envisioned as a shared national roadmap that unites multiple sectors—public, private, and community-based—in advancing innovation, culture, and digital creativity.
The long-term plan emphasizes two core strategies: strengthening human capital and developing competitive, resilient creative enterprises. Efforts will focus on research, education, intellectual property protection, and commercialization of creative outputs, while also promoting regional creative ecosystems through the SPARK approach—Strengthen, Promote, Amplify, and Remarkable. The Rindekraf is expected to serve as a strategic guideline aligned with Indonesia’s National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), ensuring coherence between central and regional policies. Scheduled for periodic review every five years, the 20-year blueprint seeks to build an adaptive and globally competitive creative economy that reflects Indonesia’s demographic potential and cultural diversity, while reinforcing the creative sector as a major pillar of national development.
