The Ministry of Trade has set an ambitious target for Indonesia’s export performance in 2025, aiming for a 7.1% increase. This would bring the total export value to around USD 294.45 billion, or the equivalent of more than IDR 4,700 trillion, a significant rise compared to previous years. These export targets are expected to be further strengthened by Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2025. This event is poised to open up new markets, increase transaction values and provide additional momentum to drive national economic growth towards 8%.
This positive trend could continue in line with policies aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of national products and diversifying markets. At the same time, Indonesia will continue to capitalise on both existing and future trade agreements as well as trade promotion to expand its market reach.
