On 18 September 2025, a strategic partnership between PT Edena Capital Nusantara and the Ministry of Investment of the Republic of Indonesia was announced to channel foreign direct investment worth USD 10 billion or around IDR 160 trillion in 2026. EDENA aims to launch a platform with initial tokenised assets valued at USD 1 billion in the fourth quarter of 2025. By 2026, it is projected that the number of registered users will exceed 1 million, with foreign investment flows reaching USD 10 billion. In the following year, the full integration of the country into the ASEAN region is expected to drive total investment to USD 50 billion. The Ministry of Investment supports and recognises EDENA's digital financial asset platform as a strategic catalyst for Indonesia's economic transformation, enabling investment access starting from IDR 100,000, generating employment, financing costs for small and medium-sized enterprises with direct access to capital without intermediaries, and providing high liquidity with 24-hour transactions.
This strategic partnership will be developed through five main areas. Firstly, carbon credit trading by leveraging Indonesia's carbon absorption potential, which is among the largest in the world. Secondly, the tokenisation of infrastructure by converting large projects into tradable digital securities. Thirdly, SME financing to ensure access to direct capital at a more efficient cost for small and medium-sized businesses. Fourthly, the democratisation of real estate, facilitating fractional ownership of premium properties. Fifth, the development of progressive regulations concerning digital financial assets. Furthermore, this cooperation is set to establish a global network. EDENA operates in a strategic position at the intersection of two major economic zones. With Indonesia serving as the centre of ASEAN and Egypt acting as the gateway to MENA-Africa via the EDENA Egypt STO Exchange, EDENA has established the world's largest emerging market digital finance corridor, connecting 2.6 billion people across more than 70 countries.
