On 10 September 2025, the Indonesian Trade and Economic Office (KDEI) in Taipei held a Business and Networking Forum in Taipei, Taiwan, to promote the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2025 exhibition to business people and investors. The event, themed 'Exploring New Horizons: Investment and Trade in Indonesia's Emerging Sectors', was attended by over 100 businesspeople from various sectors. T EI 2025 is scheduled to take place from 15-19 October 2025 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang, Banten. The Business and Networking Forum is expected to provide comprehensive information on trade and investment opportunities, as well as open up collaboration in the fields of employment and immigration. Furthermore, Taiwanese businesspeople are invited to explore the business opportunities at TEI 2025.
The forum results were very positive, with many Taiwanese businesspeople expressing their interest in participating in TEI 2025. It is hoped that the involvement of Taiwanese businesspeople will create new opportunities for cooperation in the investment, digital economy, tourism and creative economy sectors. The Business and Networking Forum is also expected to provide valuable insights for Taiwanese businesspeople, offering a comprehensive understanding of the latest developments in Indonesia's economic and trade conditions. Furthermore, the Indonesian government has effectively managed domestic conditions and situations, creating a favourable environment for business and entrepreneurial activities. Additionally, proactive government measures have encouraged sustainable economic transformation and adaptation to global dynamics.
