On September 9, 2025, Indonesia’s Trade Minister, Budi Santoso, launched the Village-Led “BISA Export” Program—short for Berani Inovasi, Siap Adaptasi (“Dare to Innovate, Ready to Adapt”)—in Jembrana, Bali. This initiative unites public and private sectors—namely the Ministries of Trade, Village Development & Disadvantaged Areas, Agriculture, Indonesia Eximbank (LPEI), Astra, and others—to transform villages into powerful export engines by tapping into their unique local products.
By September 2025, over 2,357 villages have been mapped into two clusters: 741 “export-ready” villages and 1,616 in need of further support. Export-ready villages benefit from promotional tools such as the INAEXPORT platform integration, business pitching with 31 exporters, and market matching with buyers in India and Australia. The rest will receive tailored assistance, including product development, capacity building, marketing expansion, financing, and ecosystem strengthening. To symbolise unity and growth, the program unveiled a logo combining TUNESA (“village sapling”) and ANYASA (“woven network”), alongside launching Dashboard Desa BISA Ekspor, which offers transparent, real-time data to guide stakeholders.
