PT. BGR Logistik Indonesia (BLI), a subsidiary of PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI), a member of the ID FOOD Group, is introducing superior Indonesian food products to Timor Leste. This is being done by participating in the Dili International Trade Expo 2025 at the Dili Convention Center, Timor Leste, from August 28th to September 1st, 2025. At this event, ID FOOD, represented by BLI and PPI, showcased superior Indonesian commodities, such as fertilizer, sugar, herbicides, soybeans, goat's milk, and worm capsules. BLI's presence complements the ecosystem with its logistics services, offering everything from storage and distribution to cold chain logistics, to cross-border shipping. PT BGR Logistik Indonesia President Director Syailendra stated that participation in this expo provides momentum to expand market access for Indonesian food products in Timor Leste. "The synergy between ID FOOD products and BLI's logistics services is a concrete manifestation of our role in providing distribution solutions, both domestically and internationally," said Syailendra (02/09/2025).
This activity also attracted the attention of several officials, including the Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Faisol Riza, the Indonesian Ambassador to Timor Leste, Okto Dorinus Manik, and the President of the Timor Leste Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jorge Serrano. ID FOOD's Senior Vice President of Corporate Secretary, Yosdian Adi Pramono, added that Timor Leste is a potential partner for expanding the reach of Indonesian food products. "Through participation in this expo, ID FOOD Group is presenting superior products that are not only high-quality but also able to meet the needs of the Timor Leste community," said Yosdian. BLI's participation in the Dili International Trade Expo 2025 underscores the role of state-owned logistics companies in supporting cross-border food trade while introducing strategic Indonesian products to regional markets.
