In late August 2025 (August 29–30), the Indonesian Trade and Economic Office in Taipei (KDEI Taipei) conducted a two-day visit to key horticultural production centers in Taiwan. These visits included stops at Taiwan Rice Seedling, Xian Jin, and other prominent facilities, where KDEI engaged with local producers to explore partnerships and gather insights into Taiwan’s horticultural practices. The delegation’s objective was to deepen understanding of Taiwan’s advanced production systems and identify potential areas for trade collaboration in high-quality horticultural products.
This initiative highlights KDEI Taipei’s efforts to strengthen bilateral agricultural cooperation and foster knowledge exchange. By immersing themselves in Taiwan’s production environments, KDEI aimed to bridge gaps, open avenues for Indonesian horticultural exports, and potentially adapt proven Taiwanese cultivation technologies and operations. The visit underscores a strategic approach to enhancing Indonesia–Taiwan relations within the agricultural sector, leveraging each country’s strengths for mutual benefit.
