The 2025 Apkasi Autonomy Expo (AOE) was officially closed by Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan at ICE BSD, Tangerang Regency, on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Indonesia's largest commodity, investment, tourism, and procurement exhibition recorded IDR 8 billion in transactions, with potential business value reaching billions of rupiah. "I am very happy and proud to be able to close this Apkasi exhibition. I just heard the report from the Chief Executive, and I think the results were excellent, meeting expectations. Many regional MSME products were displayed and showcased. This is what we must support. Local products must be empowered," said Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan. He added that Apkasi has held 20 exhibitions in its 25 years.
Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of Apkasi, Bursah Zarnubi, emphasized the importance of each regency in pursuing the economic and trade potential that can be tapped from the 2025 AOE exhibition. "We must collaborate to strengthen trade between regencies. For example, the Lahat Regency Government and North Minahasa Regency are ready to import bags made from coconut and walnut bark to be marketed in Lahat. The total annual turnover could reach IDR 6 billion. In return, we will send coffee to North Minahasa, as we are a coffee producer. This is the trade we want to foster," said Bursah, who also serves as the Regent of Lahat. The Chief Executive of AOE 2025, Sarman Simanjorang, reported in his report that the number of visitors recorded in the registration system as of the third day reached 9,125, consisting of investors, buyers, and general visitors. Direct trade volume, or transactions at the expo site, reached IDR 8 billion.
