PT Bursa Berjangka Jakarta (Jakarta Futures Exchange/JFX) and PT Kliring Berjangka Jakarta (PT KBI) held a mini seminar on Brent Crude Oil Futures, with the theme 'Fueling Profits: Mastering Brent Crude Oil Trading. The seminar featured the keynote speaker, the Head of Learning and Development at ONYX Capital Group, London, James Brodie. In addition, the Head of Bappebti, Tirta Karma Senjaya, was in attendance. This event aimed to enhance global energy futures trading literacy in Indonesia, with representatives of exchange members, industry leaders, and interested members of the public in attendance. JFX President Director Yazid Kanca Surya stated that the objective of this seminar is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and strategies for utilising Brent Crude Oil Futures products, while also opening up wider access for domestic market players to liquid global instruments.
PT KBI, as the strategic partner of JFX, also welcomes the initiative to develop global instruments in this seminar. Strong literacy concerning the dynamics of the global crude oil derivatives market, particularly Brent Crude Oil, is an essential skill for business actors to possess in order to participate. PT KBI's role is to ensure the reliable and transparent operation of all systems related to guarantee clearing and transaction settlement, in accordance with market integrity standards. Meanwhile, the Head of Bappebti, Tirta Karma Senjaya, also expressed his appreciation for the holding of this event. Literacy skills are a fundamental component for the development of a robust and inclusive market.
