From 14–16 August 2025, the Indo Leather & Footwear (ILF) Expo 2025 was held alongside the Indo Garment Textile (IGT) Expo 2025 at JIExpo Kemayoran. In its 18th year, the ILF Expo 2025 returns as an international exhibition and strategic platform for the leather and footwear industry. With over 280 participants, including 70 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and attended by industry leaders from China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Germany, South Korea, Malaysia, Switzerland, Taiwan and Vietnam, the exhibition is set to attract 15,000 visitors from both domestic and international markets. ILF and IGT Expo 2025 serve as a platform that brings together creative ideas, technological advancements, and business collaboration potential to create new opportunities for industry growth. Indonesia has significant potential in the leather and footwear sector, and through this event, the aim is to ensure this potential develops and becomes globally recognised.
ILF and IGT Expo 2025 serves as a prestigious platform, presenting the latest innovations in the footwear industry, leather goods, garments, textiles, and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies. A range of premium products on display includes modern sewing machines, shoe printing machines, raw material processing machines, and premium fabrics and textiles. Furthermore, the event exhibits shoe soles, fashion accessories, sneakers, boots, flat shoes, sandals, and exotic leather for fashion, furniture, and garments. Furthermore, the event aims to encourage collaboration to strengthen the supply chain from upstream to downstream, promote sustainable innovation, and open up broader market access. These objectives will help to elevate the domestic industry, making it more competitive on the international stage. At the ILF and IGT Expo 2025, the programme also includes an Independence Day Fashion Competition, exclusive talk shows with prominent figures in the industry, as well as a networking dinner facilitated as part of business matching.
