Over the course of seven months, the Ministry of Trade's business matching program for exporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) products has successfully recorded total transactions worth USD 90.04 million, or approximately IDR 1.46 trillion. This figure consists of purchase orders (POs) of USD 55.09 million and potential transactions of USD 34.95 million. This business matching is part of the MSMEs Dare to Innovate, Ready to Adapt to Exports (MSMEs Can Export) Program. The Director General of National Export Development at the Ministry of Trade, Fajarini Puntodewi, emphasized that the Ministry of Trade is committed to strengthening the contribution of MSMEs in international trade. The MSMEs Can Export program continues to operate as a strategy to directly and effectively connect Indonesian MSMEs with potential foreign buyers. "From January to July 2025, total business matching transactions under the MSMEs Can Export program reached USD 90.04 million. The Ministry of Trade remains committed to opening up export market access as widely as possible for MSME products. Business matching is a crucial bridge for MSMEs not only to gain exposure to the global market but also to record real transactions with foreign buyers," said Puntodewi.

During this period, the Ministry of Trade, along with 46 Indonesian trade representatives (perwadag) in 33 trading partner countries, facilitated 410 business matching activities involving 773 different MSMEs. The agenda consisted of 268 product curation (pitching) sessions and 142 face-to-face meetings between MSMEs and potential buyers in export destination countries. In July 2025, the value of business matching transactions reached USD 2.99 million, consisting of orders worth USD 2.39 million and potential transactions of USD 600,000. There were 45 business matching activities, including 27 pitch sessions and 18 meetings with buyers, for products including milkfish, palm oil, eggs, candy and confectionery, cosmetics, coffee, home decor, paper, and other processed foods and beverages. The Ministry of Trade also received support from 15 MSME mentors by July 2025. These mentors will mentor and recommend their MSMEs to join the MSME BISA Ekspor business matching program.
