Bank Indonesia (BI) reported that export business matching activities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) during the Karya Kreatif Indonesia (KKI) 2025 event generated transactions totaling IDR 168.3 billion. The event, held from August 7 to 10 at the Jakarta International Convention Center, facilitated interactions between BI and various ministries/agencies with 26 buyers and export aggregators from 17 countries. This initiative aimed to promote Indonesian MSMEs’ creative products to the global market.
Senior Deputy Governor BI, Destry Damayanti, emphasized the importance of supporting and collaborating to advance the creative works of Indonesian MSMEs and designers. She highlighted the role of MSME artisans in preserving cultural heritage and encouraged collective efforts to foster innovation and sustainability. Additionally, BI reported that business matching for MSME financing reached IDR 224 billion, with IDR 96 billion specifically allocated for green MSME financing.
