The natural beauty of Mount Kareumbi served as the backdrop for the Sumedang Regent's journey, which covered approximately 7.5 km from Margalaksana Village to the Cinanggerang Dam on Sunday (August 10th, 2025). In addition to monitoring road conditions, the Regent also reviewed the progress of the land bank, which is now starting to become productive. The 10-hectare plot of land owned by the Land Bank, under the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of ATR/BPN, is currently being leased by a businessman and planted with red lettuce for export to South Korea. "Planting has begun. Currently, it employs 20 workers, and when harvest time comes, it could reach 150," said the Regent. Regent Dony emphasized that productive land management not only prevents land from being abandoned but also increases community income and creates jobs. "Productive land will provide significant benefits. The Regency Government will continue to support this, including ensuring road access to this location," he concluded.
