In June 2025, Aceh’s exports reached USD 48.71 million, with India, the United States, and China as the top three destinations. India led with USD 38.61 million, comprising over 79% of total exports—mostly coal. The U.S. and China followed with USD 1.76 million and USD 1.66 million respectively, primarily importing Acehnese coffee and spices. Coal dominated as the largest export commodity, contributing USD 31.77 million or 65.21% of the total export value.

Other notable exports included coffee and spices at USD 6.96 million (14.3%), chemical products worth USD 1.15 million, and processed meat and fish at USD 1.08 million. Most exports (78.34%) were shipped via Aceh’s local ports, particularly Malahayati Port, while the rest went through ports outside the province, mainly North Sumatera. Meanwhile, Aceh imported goods worth USD 21.17 million, resulting in a foreign trade surplus of USD 27.54 million for the month.
