The meeting, mandated by President Prabowo Subianto, explored strategic investment opportunities in food, energy, and digital finance sectors. Batista’s group has expanded into energy via Âmbar Energia and serves millions through fintech platforms like PicPay and Banco Original.
Minister Budi welcomed Batista’s integrated business vision and reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive and fair international partnerships. Batista expressed strong interest in the economic empowerment model behind Koperasi Merah Putih and plans to visit its local implementations. He aims to observe best practices firsthand and consider adapting the approach to strengthen community-based economies in Brazil.
