Deputy Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri, officially launched the export of 57.6 tons of robusta coffee in three containers from the Warehouse Receipt System (WRS) warehouse owned by the Gunung Luhur Berkah Producer Cooperative in Subang, destined for China, on Monday (July 28, 2025). The export transaction value reached USD 264,950 (approximately IDR 4.31 billion). This initiative underscores the role of the SRG as a strategic tool enabling quality assurance and quantity certainty for international trading partners.

This export comes amid a positive trend in Indonesia's trade balance surplus, which reached USD 24.61 billion as of May 2025, growing by 9.68% year-on-year, driven by the non-oil and gas sector. Dyah Roro emphasized that SRG facilitates access for local coffee to various global markets with quality assurance and efficient logistics. She also highlighted the potential for coffee exports to countries such as the European Union, Australia, and New Zealand, while urging efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of Subang farmers and cooperatives in the global export market.
