The Central Java Provincial Government once again held the Central Java Investment Business Forum (CJIBF) on Tuesday (July 29th, 2025). This investment forum offered 15 investment projects ready to offer (IPRO). Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi will offer at least 15 projects to potential investors, including the construction of the Banjaran & Logawa Hydroelectric Power Plant, the development of the Candi Umbul Telomoyo Geothermal Power Plant, the Geothermal and Mineral Extraction Project, other Geothermal Projects, Waste Processing into RDF, an Integrated Special Fisheries Area, and an Integrated Whiteleg Shrimp Industry (in Cilacap). There are also the Integrated Fisheries Industry (in Pati), Industrial Salt Processing, Mokaf Industry, Integrated Coconut Industry, Regional Agricultural Commodity Center (PRKP) and Agribusiness Sub-Terminal, TKL Ecopark Transformation, Panjang Island Tourism Development, and Green Hospital-Based Hospital.
The Head of the Central Java DPMPTSP, Sakina Rosellasari, stated that this event, held at the Bidakara Hotel in Jakarta, aims to attract potential investors. The theme of the 2025 CJIBF is "Inclusive and Sustainable Investment in Support of Food and Renewable Energy.” We're trying to reach potential investors," he said (July 28, 2025). The Central Java Provincial Government is encouraging the downstreaming of agricultural products and the manufacturing sector. Foreign investors (PMA) recorded IDR 14.08 trillion in investment realization, with the top five countries being China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Netherlands. Meanwhile, domestic investors (PMDN) invested IDR 7.77 trillion during the same period. The textile industry dominated investment in Central Java, followed by leather goods, footwear, rubber and plastics, food, and housing, industrial estates, and offices. This investment during the period resulted in the absorption of 97,550 workers, with an additional 20,431 projects.
