Indonesia Eximbank (LPEI) has provided USD 30 million in financing and guarantees to PT Petro Oxo Nusantara (PON), a leading national petrochemical company. This support is part of the Special Export Assignment (PKE) - Trade Finance program aimed at strengthening Indonesia’s chemical export sector. The agreement was signed on July 17, 2025. LPEI is currently undergoing a transformation to focus more sharply on its role as an Export Credit Agency (ECA), offering financial solutions that support export cash flow and market expansion.
PON, Indonesia’s largest producer of 2-Ethyl Hexanol, exports 80% of its production to markets such as China, India, Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. The company is also expanding its operations by developing a new Neopentyl Glycol production line and upgrading its existing facilities. This partnership aligns with LPEI’s mission to build a sustainable export ecosystem and help strategic industries tap into global markets.
