The Jayapura City Government is ready to optimize regional budget allocation by establishing six strategic goods and services procurement packages with the largest value in the 2025 Fiscal Year. According to data from the Jayapura City Government website, the total budget allocated for these six projects reaches more than IDR 17.6 trillion, demonstrating the city government's commitment to improving infrastructure and public services. This determination is stipulated in Jayapura Mayoral Decree Number 188.4/265/YEAR 2025. These projects are spread across several key Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs), directly impacting the welfare of residents.
The Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, and Settlement Agency received two large allocations. First, the periodic maintenance of Youtefa Market Road, with a budget of IDR 1,319,472,140. Second, the project to construct and explore 50 deep wells, with a budget ceiling of IDR 1,294,154,000. Both initiatives aim to improve the quality of road infrastructure and ensure the availability of clean water for the community. The Transportation Agency will rehabilitate the Type C Terminal with a budget of IDR 1,330,000,000. This project is expected to improve the comfort and efficiency of public transportation. The health sector is receiving serious attention. The Health Agency has allocated IDR 2,600,720,000 for the construction of the Skow Community Health Center Office Building, Phase 2. Meanwhile, Ramela Hospital will construct a NICU and PICU building, costing IDR 3,276,271,650. These projects strengthen healthcare facilities, ensuring better medical services for the community, particularly for intensive care for infants and children. The largest procurement package is allocated to the Environment and Sanitation Agency, amounting to IDR 7,844,299,000 for the opening of the Level 2 Landfill at the Koya Koso Final Processing Site (TPA). This project is vital for waste management, supporting a cleaner and healthier environment.
