The Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) facilitated the export of agricultural products valued at IDR 1.335 billion through the Pekan Agro Digital dan Inovasi (PADI) 2025 event held in Temanggung, Central Java. This initiative, part of the Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Support Services (YESS) program, highlights the government's commitment to empowering young farmers through training, innovation, and improved market access. The exported goods included 70 tons of honey sweet potatoes to the Middle East, 1.5 tons of palm sugar to Malaysia, and 1 ton of organic vegetables to Singapore.
Deputy Minister Sudaryono emphasized that agricultural exports are more than just shipping products—they are about increasing foreign exchange earnings and improving farmers' welfare. The PADI event served as a collaborative platform uniting innovation, technology, and policy for young agricultural entrepreneurs. Officials praised the success of millennial farmers and stressed the importance of business matching to foster global partnerships and long-term market potential.
