Ministry of Agriculture Exports 40 Tons of Processed Chicken Products Worth USD 149,000 (IDR 2.4 Billion)

The Ministry of Agriculture released the first export of 40 tons of processed chicken products from PT Malindo Food Delight, located in GIIC Cikarang Industrial Estate, Bekasi Regency, on July 14, 2025. Director General of Livestock and Animal Health, Agung Suganda, said that the total export value reached USD 149,000-equivalent to IDR 2.4 billion-and was sent to four destination countries: 11 tons to the United Arab Emirates (first export), 11 tons to Oman, 12 tons to Singapore, and 6 tons to Japan. Agung said this is proof that Indonesian processed poultry products have met international quality standards and certifications, such as ISO 22000, ISO 9001, halal, and Quarantine Culture Guidelines (NKV), so they can compete in the global market. He also hopes that exports can be expanded to Saudi Arabia, utilizing opportunities from hundreds of thousands of Indonesian Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, thus creating a large annual market.

PT Malindo Food Delight emphasized its commitment to maintain production capacity and quality with Avian Influenza-free farm management. Support from the Ministry of Agriculture through Government-to-Government (G2G) schemes and halal certification are cited as keys to successfully opening new market access in the Middle East, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. This export is a strategic step in strengthening Indonesia's position as a processed poultry exporting country on the global stage.
