The Brebes Regency Government is currently focused on creating a healthy, competitive, and sustainable investment climate through favorable regulations, easy and fast licensing services, and continuously improved infrastructure support.
Indonesian Deputy Minister of Industry Faisol Riza stated that the establishment of the PT Xinhai Knitting Indonesia factory addresses the challenges currently facing the nation related to global trade uncertainty. Hopefully, it will further enhance the competitiveness of the textile industry and textile products in the global market. Regarding employment, Faisol said, approximately 6,000 people will be employed, and this is just the first factory construction. PT Xinhai Knitting promises that in the coming period, more investment and employment will be added. Meanwhile, Director of PT Xinhai Knitting Indonesia, Hwang Hiu Yu, stated that PT Xinhai's annual production capacity is 25 million pieces of knitted garments. As a global textile and garment investment group, it has production bases in Guangdong, China, and Yangon, Myanmar, and has long provided high-quality services to international brands such as H&M (a fashion company). "We chose Brebes as a new starting point. Brebes is not only a center for printing in the ASEAN region, but also has abundant labor resources and a very warm and friendly community. These are the things that make us very confident to invest in Indonesia," he said.
