Lampung Province carried out the first export of robusta coffee green beans to Oman by shipping through Panjang Port, Monday (8/7/2025). This initial export involved around 36 tons of green coffee beans worth USD 79,905, part of a long-term contract estimated at USD 2.4 million. This initiative is the result of business matching facilitated by Bank Syariah Indonesia during International Expo 2025, involving fostered MSMEs that are ready to penetrate the Middle East market.
This commercial export not only brings the potential to increase added value for Lampung farmers, but also emphasizes the commitment of Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang in improving the quality of logistics services. Support from Bank Syariah Indonesia also strengthens the local coffee supply chain ecosystem, shortening distribution channels and increasing farmers' margins. The local government and port operator hope that this momentum will open up expansion opportunities for other superior commodities from Lampung, while supporting the national strategy to make Indonesia the world's maritime axis.
