Indonesia’s top micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) showcased promising results at the China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) 2025 in Guangzhou, held from June 27-30. The Indonesian pavilion, featuring 25 MSMEs, generated potential trade deals worth approximately IDR 12.56 billion (USD 773,200). Highlighted products included cocoa powder, shrimp crackers, gluten-free snacks, coffee, chocolate beverages, and various spices. The event offered significant exposure and reinforced Indonesia’s image as an innovative and competitive trade partner.
According to Trade Attaché Budi Hansyah, the event marked strong synergy between the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing and the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs. Several businesses received positive responses and are now preparing product registrations with China’s General Administration of Customs. CISMEF 2025, Asia-Pacific's largest MSME exhibition, enabled Indonesian companies to access broader international markets, aligning with Indonesia’s export strategy amidst rising bilateral trade—reaching USD 58.56 billion between January-May 2025 with China.
