In June 2025, subsidiary PT Krakatau Baja Industri of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. exported CRC steel products to the European market. The shipment, weighing 2,400 tonnes, was transported from Krakatau International Port in Cilegon to Szczecin Port in Poland. This volume is targeted to increase to approximately 5,000 tonnes by July. The CRC produced by PT Krakatau Baja Industri is a high-quality steel material that is widely used across various industrial sectors. The company's manufacturing capabilities span a wide range of products, including pipe, automotive components, and raw materials for downstream products such as galvalume, galvanised steel, and household appliances. Renowned for maintaining high-quality standards, its production facilities are capable of meeting both domestic and global market demands.

The Director of Industrial and Mining Product Exports at the Ministry of Trade, Andri Gilang Nugraha, has stated that this export success demonstrates that downstreaming the steel industry is key to enhancing the value added and competitiveness of national products, opening up broader market access with products that can compete in terms of quality and innovation.
