Bengkayang Regent Sebastianus Darwis officially inaugurated Nordu Coffee on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Bumi Sebalo Corner, Bumi Emas, Bengkayang. Positioned as a modern hangout spot with a scenic mountain view, the café aims to enrich local culinary experiences and enhance economic development. In his remarks, the Regent praised the café as a creative economic investment that benefits residents by attracting visitors, generating local income, increasing tax revenue, and fostering overall economic growth. He also encouraged more investors and entrepreneurs to consider Bengkayang as a promising business destination.
Representing Nordu Coffee, Stepanus shared that this is the seventh branch, following successful outlets in Pontianak, Singkawang, and Kapuas Hulu. He expressed gratitude for the strong government support shown through the Regent’s direct involvement in the opening.
