Indonesian Coffee Exports Increase by 76.33 Percent

According to Indonesia’s Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the country’s coffee exports in 2024 reached USD 1.638 billion, rising by 76.33% compared to 2023. The top five export destinations in 2024 were the United States (USD 307.4 million), Egypt (USD 142.5 million), Malaysia (USD 130.5 million), Belgium (USD 115.7 million), and Russia (USD 104.7 million).


This sharp increase highlights the growing international demand for Indonesian coffee, known for its distinctive flavors and diverse regional varieties. Coffee industry players across the country, including local traders in Depok, see this trend as a positive signal for future growth, strengthening Indonesia’s standing in the global coffee market.
