Kawan Lama Solution officially opened the Kawan Lama Solution Expo 2025, as part of an effort to accelerate the transformation of the national manufacturing sector amidst the challenges of digitalization and automation. This event is a strategic forum that strengthens collaboration between industry players, government, and the world of education. Vice President of National Sales Operation Kawan Lama Solution, Hendrian Susanto, said that the Indonesian manufacturing industry is facing a major transition phase, both in terms of work processes, technology, and workforce competency. "We want to be a strategic partner, not just an equipment provider, so that operations are more efficient, safe, and competitive in the global market," he said in his opening remarks at the expo, Monday (6/16/2025). Expo 2025 displays various industrial technology solutions interactively—from metal cutting machines, sheet metal processing, welding, material handling systems, to robotic technology, work safety equipment, and high-precision measurements. The exhibition presents more than a dozen world-renowned industrial technology brands.
As a space for sharing knowledge, the expo also holds the Indonesia Manufacturing Insight Forum—a series of daily seminars that bring together industry practitioners, academics, and the government to discuss technology trends and solutions to future industrial challenges. The Head of the East Java Industry and Trade Office, Dr. Iwan, was also highlighted the importance of transformation towards sustainable and low-emission industries, in line with the national carbon neutral target by 2060. “East Java already has 13 active industrial areas and is developing eight new areas. The manufacturing industry contributes more than 30% of the province’s GRDP and is the driving force of economic growth, which this year recorded a figure of 5%, above the national average,” he said.
