At the 2025 International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) in Jakarta, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), presented 46 curated infrastructure projects worth nearly IDR 200 trillion to international investors. These projects span vital sectors such as food security, housing, renewable energy, and major toll roads, including Gilimanuk-Mengwi (IDR 25.4 trillion), Pejagan-Cilacap (IDR 27.59 trillion), and Sentul Selatan-Karawang Barat (IDR 34.75 trillion). Additional key developments include Singkawang Airport, the Karawang City residential project, and the Blok M mixed-use terminal area.
AHY emphasized that the goal extends beyond profit—aiming for long-term transformative partnerships. These projects are structured under public-private partnership (PPP) schemes and joint ventures, excluding fully state-funded initiatives. According to Deputy Rachmat Kaimuddin, these initiatives have undergone thorough assessment and are deemed investment-ready. In support, Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo introduced nine additional infrastructure projects valued at IDR 90.21 trillion. This includes five mini-hydro power projects (PLTM) at strategic dams and a IDR 1.9 trillion waste management facility in Balikpapan. Three toll road projects overlap with those presented by AHY, highlighting their strategic importance. The government hopes this targeted offering will attract robust foreign investment, accelerating Indonesia’s infrastructure modernization while fostering sustainable economic growth through strong private-sector collaboration.
