To Increase Business Productivity, the Ministry of Manpower Launches the SIPRONI Application

The Ministry of Manpower launched the Latest Productivity Service Information System (SIPRONI) application in Bekasi Regency, West Java, Wednesday (03/12/20). This application aims to identify quickly the need for increasing the productivity of each business sector. The Director General of Training and Productivity of the Ministry of Manpower, Budi Hartawan, said that by measuring the level of productivity of a company using SIPRONI, an overview of the condition and quality of Human Resources (HR) will be obtained in realizing development goals, and can see the extent of the contribution of labor towards the economic growth. "The SIPRONI application can be accessed through the productivity.kemnaker.go.id web page. I hope that through this SIPRONI system, the Ministry of Manpower can prepare competitive and productive human resources as part of increasing national competitiveness, and along with it will also increase national productivity. , "Said Budi Hartawan.

Budi said, SIPRONI is one of the efforts to support the National Productivity Movement (GPN), which will be complemented by the formation of a Work Productivity Forum (Productivity Community) to increase the active participation of the Government (Central and Regional), Business Actors (Companies and Industries), Union Workers and Academics in Indonesia. Indonesia through the National Productivity Institute (LPN) has initiated the National Movement for Increased Productivity and Competitiveness (GNP2DS).

This movement is an effort to mobilize all components of the nation in a planned, structured, systematic and sustainable manner in order to increase national productivity, welfare and the competitiveness of the Indonesian nation. "The implementation will be carried out with technology, using an application called the Latest Productivity Service Information System (Siproni) which we are launching today," he said.

According to him, SIPRONI is a breakthrough needed to boost productivity and national competitiveness. Based on World Economic Forum (WEF) data in The Global Competitiveness Report 2019, Indonesia's competitiveness score in 2019 was 64.6 and was ranked 50th out of 141 countries covered.

Apart from SIPRONI, on the same occasion a Book of Indonesian Productivity and Competitiveness (Volume I) was also launched. The book on Indonesia's Productivity and Competitiveness can be downloaded for free via the link https://bit.ly/ BukuProduktivitasDayaSaingIndonesia. In order for the increase in productivity to be massive, data on the labor sector is needed to be used as a basis for increasing productivity in order to focus on the areas to be improved. The data is provided in the form of volume I of the measurement results of Indonesia's productivity and competitiveness," he concluded.
