The World Surf League (WSL) Krui Pro Qualifying Series (QS) 6000 international surfing championship which will be held from 10th to 17th June 2025 will bring a breath of fresh air to the tourism sector in Pesisir Barat, Lampung. Legowo, one of the hotel and resort entrepreneurs in the Krui area, said that the occupancy rate for this year's Eid al-Adha holiday had experienced a significant spike. "The visits are very noticeable, the occupancy rate is very good. D-1 of the holiday is already full and this is full until D+1. This Eid al-Adha holiday has a big influence on tourism and is very lively," he said, Sunday (8/6/2025). He said that concerns about the sluggish economy due to various global and national factors were not really felt in the Krui tourism sector. Interestingly, ahead of the implementation of WSL Krui Pro 2025, reservations from international guests have also shown a sharp increase.

WSL Krui 2025 really supports tourism,” he said.
