Bank Indonesia Province of Bali organised Bali Jagadhita and successfully integrated trade, the creative economy product ecosystem, and investment. Bali Jagadhita was held to promote products and establish Bali as a hub for a sustainable and creative economy. Bali Jagadhita serves as a strategic forum to strengthen trade channels between local businesses and global markets. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy expressed its appreciation to Bank Indonesia, Province of Bali, for organising this event. On 2 June 2025, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya, in his opening remarks at the Bali Jagadhita 2025 event in Denpasar, stated that Presidential Regulation No. 12 of 2025 on the 2025–2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) designates 15 provinces as priorities for creative economy development in Indonesia, including Bali. Bali Province is designated as both a tourist destination and a national centre for creative economic innovation.
Currently, Indonesia is entering a new era of investment aimed not only to maximise profit but also to consider social and environmental impacts. Bali is seen as a prime location for investment due to its natural environment, culture and people. To enhance the competitiveness of local creative products in the international market, it is crucial to focus on strengthening digital platforms, cross-border marketing, and supply chain integrity. This potential must be encouraged through the implementation of suitable policies and programmes, as well as the provision of market access infrastructure and financing. Bali Jagadhita is an ideal platform for promoting local products and facilitating collaboration between the public and private sectors. Alongside this commitment, Bali's Provincial Government is implementing numerous sustainable development initiatives, focusing on maintaining an inclusive, globally competitive economic ecosystem while preserving the island's unique cultural heritage.
