The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Trading House (KADIN ITH) successfully hosted its second "Exporter Meet Up: Market Global Expansion" event on April 30th, 2025, at Holiday Inn Pasteur, Bandung, West Java. The event attracted over 70 exporters from diverse sectors, including food and beverages, fashion, textiles, agriculture, handicrafts, furniture, and industrial machinery. Key speakers included M. Lukmanul Hakim from the West Java Industry and Trade Office and Deden Muhammad from the Ministry of Trade, who emphasized the importance of strategic initiatives to support local businesses in expanding into international markets. Esther Cesie Mandagi, Director of KADIN ITH, highlighted the necessity of strengthening the national export ecosystem to navigate global trade challenges, particularly in light of recent U.S. tariff policies affecting Indonesia.
The event featured expert sessions from industry leaders such as Abdul Sobur of GPEI West Java, Steven Wangsa Wirahardja of Alibaba.com Indonesia, and Agus Cipto from Bank Syariah Indonesia, covering topics like digital export strategies, Islamic financing solutions, and practical export pricing. Muhammad Fahmi Zaenal Abidin shared insights on building digital-based export businesses, while Mutia Safitri from MS Consultant provided guidance on calculating export selling prices. The program included seminars, interactive talk shows, technical training, and networking sessions to foster long-term business partnerships. Supported by the Ministry of Trade, West Java's Industry and Trade Office, Alibaba.com, MS Consultant, MEKARI, Discovering the Magnificence of Indonesia, and Bank Syariah Indonesia, the event demonstrated a collaborative commitment to enhancing Indonesia's export growth through technology, education, and sustainable business development.
