PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) KCU Bandar Lampung facilitated the shipment of 15 tons of damar resin from Lampung to be exported to Senegal. Executive General Manager of KCU Bandar Lampung Richwan Boy said that 15 tons of damar resin were sent from Panjang Port, Bandar Lampung City, to Senegal. "So 15 tons of damar resin from Lampung were exported to Senegal. With support from Customs, Lampung Provincial Government, to Quarantine. The company is from Indonesian Commodity, originally from Lampung," said Richwan Boy when interviewed by Tribun Lampung at the KCU Bandar Lampung Post Office, Tuesday (5/27/2025). He hopes that the export will continue and become a momentum for PT POS to provide the best service to customers.
Director of CV Indonesian Commodity, Mahessa Raditya said that the damar resin commodity has many spots in Lampung. The spots are located in Pesisir Barat Regency, Lamsel and Tanggamus Regency. Head of Foreign Trade of the Lampung Province Trade and Industry Office, Endi Fauzi, said that so far his party has empowered MSMEs fostered by the Lampung Provincial Government. "Yesterday, I participated in export training in 2023, several shipments from other services and this year using the BUMN PT Pos," said Endi. This export is a follow-up to the results of cooperation between the governor and PT Pos central and regional. "We have also entered into a cooperation agreement and received a 15 percent discount on domestic shipping," said Endi. The release of the damar export was also attended by the Head of the Lampung Plant Quarantine Team, Samsul Hidayat, Head of the Extension and Information Services Section of the Lampung Regional Office of Customs, Herianto.
