Investment Potential And Opportunities In NTB Are Now Being Mapped

The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) is actively mapping investment potential and opportunities to shape a more targeted and sustainable investment strategy. Acting Head Eva Dewiyani emphasized the importance of accurate and synchronized data from all regencies and cities, particularly related to investment realization and sectoral developments. A coordination meeting held on 27 May 2025 brought together regional DPMPTSP representatives to discuss local conditions and key sectoral strengths. Dompu and Bima, for example, continue to focus on rice and corn production, while Sumbawa has expanded its corn drying silo capacity, indicating readiness to support raw material supply chains.

In 2024, NTB recorded an investment realization of IDR 54.55 trillion, exceeding the national target by 202%. This included IDR 43.76 trillion in domestic investment and IDR 10.79 trillion in foreign investment. The leading sectors were energy and mineral resources (IDR 37.95 trillion), followed by manufacturing (IDR 10.07 trillion), and tourism and the creative economy (IDR 4.07 trillion). These achievements highlight NTB’s increasing appeal to investors. The province continues to refine its investment promotion strategies to further attract capital and support balanced regional economic development.
