BP Batam continues to strengthen Batam’s investment climate through direct engagement with industry players. On Monday, May 26, 2025, Fary Djemy Francis, Member/Deputy for Investment and Business, began a series of field visits to industrial areas, with Batamindo Industrial Park as his first stop. He observed industrial activities and met directly with business operators. “I’m here to introduce myself and listen to the challenges faced by businesses so we can provide the best possible solutions,” Fary stated. He emphasized BP Batam’s commitment—under Head Amsakar Achmad and Deputy Head Li Claudia Chandra—to promoting inclusive investment that brings tangible benefits to the community.
Fary praised Batamindo’s contribution since 1990 and expressed hope for continued collaboration in boosting Batam’s industrial sector. He also visited PT Pegaunihan Teknologi Indonesia’s production facility. Batamindo General Manager Mook Sooi Wah welcomed the visit, thanking BP Batam for its ongoing support. “This visit is a valuable moment for us to directly share the challenges we face, both in operations and future expansion plans,” he said. The field visits will continue in the coming days as BP Batam gathers input to better support businesses. Fary was accompanied by key BP Batam officials, including Irfan Syakir Widyasa, Harlas Buana, Asep Lili Holilulloh, Billy Mambrasar, Auliya Ahmad Syauqi, and several senior staff.
