The Central Bangka Regency government in the Bangka Belitung Islands is set to diversify its economy over the next five years, aiming to reduce the region's dependence on tin mining. According to Deputy Regent Efrianda, while tin has long driven economic growth, it has also been a source of social and legal problems, prompting a call for new economic strategies.
