Indonesian games have achieved impressive success in Poland, generating potential business transactions worth USD 4,639,000 or equivalent to IDR 75.6 billion. The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Warsaw facilitated two Indonesian game companies, Agate and Animesme, to participate in the Digital Dragons 2025 game exhibition in Krakow, Poland. Digital Dragons 2025 took place at the ICE Krakow Congress Center on May 18-20th, 2025. Based on the press release from the Indonesian Embassy in Warsaw received by Kompas.tv, Sunday (5/25/2025), the two companies presented their flagship games, Nightmare Battler Zozo and HR Simulator.
The two games managed to attract the attention of more than 1,500 visitors. Their participation this year also yielded positive results, with potential business transactions reaching USD 4,639,000. This potential includes cooperation in the form of game publication, porting, development and research, co-development, marketing support, and investment opportunities. This value is an achievement because it has increased more than fourfold compared to 2024. At that time, the value of business transactions obtained was USD 1 million or equivalent to IDR 16.2 billion at the current exchange rate. Last year, the main income came from outsourcing services such as porting and art design services.
In the past three years, the Indonesian Embassy in Warsaw has made cooperation in the game sector one of the priorities of economic diplomacy in Poland. This effort has resulted in a number of business agreements between companies (B2B), bilateral ministerial-level meetings, trade missions, and a series of facilitation activities such as business matching and company visits.
