On 15 May 2025, PT Atum Power Bintan successfully completed the inaugural export of solar panels or solar cell products to the United States. BEA Cukai Tanjungpinang provides comprehensive support for the initial export. PT Atum Power Bintan is one of the investors in the Bintan Industrial Estate (BIE), which has a free trade zone facility, facilitating export and import activities. Support for these exports from Customs is part of the commitment to promote export-oriented growth and the use of renewable energy. The objective is to leverage solar cell exports to stimulate a multiplier effect in the Bintan Industrial Estate, encompassing sustainable export activities, to encourage economic growth, create jobs, improve infrastructure and enhance community welfare.
