Lamongan Regency officially launched its first export of 2025 on May 14, marked by a ceremony at the Lamongan Sport Center and the opening of Lamongan Exportiva Season II—an annual platform showcasing the region’s export potential while fostering business-government collaboration. Regent Yuhronur Efendi, known as Pak Yes, flagged off seven containers of goods produced by six local companies and five MSMEs, destined for ten countries including the U.S., Japan, China, and Australia.
The exported products spanned five key sectors: plastics, seafood (fish and shrimp), wood products, footwear, and food-beverage items including handwoven crafts. Pak Yes emphasized that this inaugural export signals not an end but a renewed commitment to competing in global markets. In 2024, Lamongan’s export value reached IDR 20.7 trillion—an impressive feat amid global trade tensions, inflation, and policy shifts. The Exportiva event, running for five days, doubles as an educational forum featuring customs consultants and export specialists to guide businesses on documentation, market access, and procedures. Head of the Lamongan Trade Office, Anang Taufik, noted that 100 curated small and medium industries (IKMs) are now ready for international markets. Exportiva also serves as a public showcase of Lamongan’s regional development priorities, highlighting its openness to global investment. Participants in this export milestone include major firms like PT Bumi Menara Internusa and MSMEs such as Koko Nono and Kirana—reflecting the diverse and growing export power of Lamongan.
